Deuterocohnia brevifolia is a species in the family Bromeliaceae (bromeliads). This species is native to Argentina and Bolivia. Over time, these miniature rosettes cluster tightly to form dome-like mounds or cushions that resemble a living, armored carpet. A great container plant or in the garden. Morning sun or dappled light is perfect for this species. They will form large dense mounds of many many heads in the years.
🌿 Miniature Rosette Growth: Forms tight, spiny clusters of triangular green leaves.
🧱 Cushion-Forming Habit: Creates dense, mound-like mats over time—great for groundcover or feature pots.
☀️ Tough & Drought-Resistant: Thrives in full sun and dry conditions with minimal care.
